How to Become a Christian:
• All of us have sinned.
Romans 3:23—"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
• Sin must be punished.
Romans 6:23—"For the wages of sin is death . . . "
• God loves you and Jesus died for your sins so you can be freely forgiven.
Romans 5:8—"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us."
• Believe in Jesus as the only way of salvation.
Acts 16:31—"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved . . . "
John 14:6—"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through me."
• Repent (turn from) of your sins.
Luke 13:3—" . . . unless you repent, you will all perish."
• Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Romans 10:9—" . . . if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
